BioSynopsis:
Jolyn Riley has always prouded herself on the fact that she has never gotten particularly attached to guys since her ex-boyfriend, Jerad. He had completely destroyed her, and now that she is close to recovery, she refuses to ever let a boy make her feel that way again. She enjoys her single life that is full of innocent flirting and fun and free of unnecessary pain and heartache, and in her life, boys are just games to be played.
But when Zac Hanson steps into the picture, she can't deny the awesome friendship they've come to create. And that's just what it is, a friendship. But as time goes on and they become closer, Jolyn can't help feeling that maybe Zac is worth giving her heart to, worth the chance she worked so hard to keep herself from ever taking again.
And as Zac begins to see the real her, a broken girl hurt by the only boy she ever loved and wearing a mask to cover the pain, he finds himself falling just as hard. But his knowledge of Jolyn's games and her negative view of love defeats him right away. Convinced there's no way Jolyn could ever feel the same way as him, he moves on with someone Jolyn has no idea about.
