Hi, my dears. How are you all doing? Lovely, I hope! And I hope you all are getting some of the gorgeous weather we had in the beginning of the week. Spring is on its way, and it's beautiful. I, for one, am quite excited.

Sadly, I have no update. I know; I suck. I'm working on it. I promise. :) However, I wanted to let you guys know that over at JSOR (Just Shy of Reality) they are doing a new thing that's called "Author Spotlight". Every month or few weeks, whatever it is, they spotlight a Hanfic author, and I'm the first one. :) So Brittney and Becca came up with a list of questions for me to answer about my writing and what not. That is now posted, and others are welcome to ask me whatever questions they wish. If it's something you feel like checking out, I highly recommend it, and I highly recommend joining the board. We have a good time over there, and if you join, take the time to nominate some other amazing authors for the spotlight. :)

Also, I've been giving more and more thought to switching over to an actual website. I have a few other stories in the works, and I just keeping about all the things I could do with an actual website. I would able to add a "Coming Soon" section and what not and give you some sneak previews of the stories I've been working on besides The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most and the sequel. I just feel like it would get too cluttered around here. I know long ago Kristy offered to host me, and I'm hoping that offer is still open if I choose to take it. :)

The only issue I have with that is that one, I'm not html savy. At all. Second, I most likely wouldn't be able to respond to the feedback you guys leave, and that's something I really love doing here.

So I'm just wondering what your thoughts are on that. I would really like to know what you guys think. It's important to me, and so any input or suggestions are greatly appreciated. :)

DUH OF COURSE IT IS! If you wanted a full subdomain, I'm sure Heather would be willing to do that since she's always looking for hostees. If not, I would definitely be willing to have your stories on there at least, and we could work out a coming soon page or something if that's all you're interested in maintaining [versus all the other kinds of pages that I have on my subdomain like reading list, about the author, etc.]. So just think about it and decide what would be best for you. I'm up for the challenge. :-)

And my shoulders LITERALLY drooped as soon as I read "Sadly, I have no update"

I don't know what I want to do. lol I wouldn't mind having all the extra stuff, which means having my own full subdomain, but it's really not a necessity for me. The only thing I'd really like to have is a "Coming Soon" thing, which like you said, we can probably work something out.

I can have character/soundtrack pages and stuff though, right? Also, if you hosted my stories, I would just send you the chapters and you would be posting them and all that jazz; is that right? Do I need to be html savy, layout wise? Because I'm not. lol

And sorry. :(

Of course! What's a story without that stuff?? Lol You would definitely have all that, and yes, you would send me the chapters and I'd post them. As far as layouts, I'm not much help. But there are some talented people out there, who I'm sure wouldn't mind making you a header or something, and then I can make a simple layout off of that. I don't know how to do the fancy ones like Heather's or Brittney's, but I did KYC around the header that Heather made me. So like I said, just think about it, and whenever you made a decision, whatever it is, I'll help however I can!

lol Well, I just wanted to make sure that I could include that stuff.

I don't need anything fancy; simple and pretty works for me. I like your layout for KYC.

And I will most definitely get back to you. It may be a little while though. lol

YAY! Get yourself on an actual website. That's what I say. And as far as feedback, you can post a link to your livejournal on your site and people can leave comments there the way you leave your Office Hours comments in mine. :) Guestbooks are good too, but you can't really respond the way you can in lj.

I like that idea. I don't know why I didn't think of that. lol I still haven't decided though what I'm going to do. I'm so indecisive. But I just feel like it's getting too cluttered around here and would like a fresh start. Plus, like I said, I want to give some sneak peaks. :)
